The Lady’s Quarters
If you’re a fan of the Little Nightmares Walkthrough series, you’ve probably wondered how to reach the second area, The Residence. This room is barricaded from the outside and is the fifth area that Six travels through. It corresponds to the top deck of a passenger ship. However, you need to be careful as the area is filled with Shadow Kids that are determined to kill you.
First, you must make sure that you don’t spot the Geisha because if you do, you’ll instantly die. You’ll also have to be extra careful when you’re battling with the enemies in this area, but don’t worry, they’re not that difficult. It’s just a matter of getting them right. In this walkthrough, I’ll share some tips to make sure you’re able to beat The Lady’s Quarters in Little Nightmares Walkthrough as quickly as possible.
The next scene you’ll encounter is the first one you’ll have to kill before you can go on. There are two different ways to kill the Lady. One is to get a mirror and point it at her face. The other method is to collect a Statue from the floor below her. If you’re able to kill her in this way, you’ll be rewarded with 1 Statue.
During this chapter, you’ll find eight headless statues of young girls. These are possibly the girls that inhabited Maw before the Lady obtained the title of Lady. They are likely just reincarnations of girls who inhabited the maw before she became a Lady. It’s possible that these girls were part of a cycle of successors. And the statues in The Lady’s Quarters are proof of this.
The next room in The Lady’s Quarters is the first area where you must make your way to the top floor. The elevator is to the right, so exit it there. Once inside, push a vase on the bedside table and grab the Key on the mirror. Afterwards, the Lady will disappear. To make sure you’re sneaky enough to sneak past her, you can also use a mirror to get to the top floor.
The Depths
The depths are a new area in the Little Nightmares Walkthrough game, found at the bottom of the Maw. The depths used to be a living space, but now they are completely submerged. These are probably the sewage system and ballast system of the Maw. It also has pipes connecting it to other areas of the Maw. The depths also contain a new collectible, the Flotsam Bottle.
While Little Nightmares Walkthrough had unpolished gameplay that felt clunky, this expansion plays much worse. The platforming feels clunky and requires much more precision than in the base game. The game is very slow and heavy, making it a difficult experience for players. If you don’t like that kind of gameplay, don’t bother with The Depths. You won’t be disappointed, though.
The Depths doesn’t feature much in the way of music. The game’s designers seem to be going for a minimalist approach to level design, so they leave out all but creepy sound effects. The resulting sound design is eerie and carries the game’s gloomy tone well. Similarly, the game is not very long. You can easily finish it within one hour.
The depths of Little Nightmares Walkthrough features new enemies. In the previous game, there was only one main antagonist. However, there are two new enemies that you can face in the depths. You can ignore the wall scans that show you who you’re dealing with, but you can’t ignore the central enemy – the Runaway Kid. You can use cues like this to identify the right enemies and evade their attacks.
The Hideaway
The Hideaway in Little Nightmare in the critically-acclaimed adventure game is now available for PC via Steam. The DLC adds a new chapter to the game. As the title suggests, it takes a step back from enemy interactions and focuses on puzzles with your gnome friends. It’s a relatively short DLC, taking about one hour to complete. However, be sure to check out our review of The Hideaway in Little Nightmares Walkthrough for more details!
The Hideaway is part of the Secrets of the Maw expansion. It will require you to rescue the mysterious Nomes and help the Runaway Kid escape the furnace room. To get the most out of this chapter, read our Secrets of the Maw walkthrough. We’ll also give you some helpful tips and tricks to complete the secret quests in this chapter. We’ll also touch on how to unlock all three secret rooms in The Hideaway.
If you’re a Little Nightmares Walkthrough fan, you’ll enjoy The Hideaway. It’s an atmospheric puzzle-platform-adventure, but it lacks the punch of its predecessor. While it is less intense than The Depths, this game is still worth the price. Although it’s not as challenging as the original Little Nightmares Walkthrough, it’s still more enjoyable than its predecessor.
The Residence
The Residence in Little Nightmares is a short, but interesting chapter in the game. The game follows on from the first two Tales – The Depths and The Hideaway. It will be a short, frustrating challenge if you haven’t played those previously. You’ll need to find three statues, arrange them into the correct shapes, and unlock the door to escape. You’ll have to solve a puzzle on the first floor to move on to the next chapter, which involves jumping down to reach a small opening near the top of the screen.
As with the previous two games, The Residence is visually stunning, but it doesn’t quite deliver a convincing gameplay experience. And despite being short, the Secret of the Maw doesn’t live up to the original Little Nightmares game. Tarsier Studios did a good job splitting the game’s core concepts and delivering puzzles, but it falls short of the classic Little Nightmares Walkthrough experience. Still, it leaves gamers thirsty for more, which is why it’s hoped a sequel will be on the way.
The last chapter of the main game, The Maw, concludes the storyline of the game. In the second game, Six must save the king’s daughter, whose secret is the Maw. Fortunately, she will come across her husband and two daughters. After they escape, they must save the maw from the maw, but before they can, Six will need to find a way to return home.
